Computer-Laptop Pickup and Dropoff
Included in all of our pricing is free pickup and dropoff (within a 10-mile radius) – No need to leave your home for computer repair, which is great with minneapolis traffic.
If you must drop-off a computer, we do ask that you call ahead so that we can make sure a computer technician or Apple Genius will be available to intake your computer or laptop.
We do not employ a retail location for a few reasons:
- We offer a free pickup and dropoff of your computer or laptop at a convenient location for our customers (home or work) – Dropping off the machine yourself will not expedite service in most repair cases
- We don’t want to pass the cost of a retail location on to our customers – It allows us to keep our prices lower
- A retail location is unecessary for us to provide you with the most efficient, professional computer, laptop, and apple repair
- With our free pickup and dropoff, it is easy for an onsite computer or apple technician to leave our bench testing location to come to you – Employees that are required to stay in a retail location from ’9-5′ reduce efficiency if they are idle, and this also helps us reduce prices
Parts:
- We do stock hundreds of common computer and apple parts, LCDs, hard drives, inverters, power jacks, software, virus removal software, cases, power supplies, CPU fans, thermal paste, etc.
- We sell our parts at the cost we purchase the parts for: We do not add-on any percentage to the price of parts
- Some parts may require us to order them from a distributor. Parts that require shipping have FREE shipping (standard shipping) included, overnight shipping has a $29.99 shipping cost
- Warranty
- New parts carry a manufacturers warranty – Hard drives carry a 3 to 5 year warranty, depending on the manufacturer
- Used parts carry our 30-day labor warranty – We do not sell used hard drives or memory (RAM)
Warranty:
CompuTechs+ minneapolis Computer repair offers a 30-day labor warranty on all services performed, on all machines repaired. You may extend this warranty by double if you receive service with CompuTechs+ and Contact CompuTechs+ within one week of repair.
If for some reason (parts are too expensive, etc.) you decide not to go through with your repair, you will not be charged the full-rate for computer repair. Our diagnostic rate is $69.99, which will only be charged if the repair was possible (but was not performed due to customer preference), or if data recovery was attempted but unsuccessful. If CompuTechs+ computer repair was unsuccessful at repairing your machine, there will be no charge whatsoever. We offer a ‘no-fix, no pay’ guarantee, and our computer repair professionals have stood by this guarantee for over 10 years running.
